“Impetus” is a sculpture which attempts to give concrete form to an elusive thing. Namely the drive that underpins so much of the activity which the “Homo Sapien” has exceled at for thousands of years. The impetus to survive, thrive and learn has been pivotal in the story of our existence, and this figures expansion outward into space attempts to express some small part of this.
